The LSE also hosts the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), which is an equities market for smaller growing companies and often more relevant for biotechnology companies.
There is also the new PLUS Market, which offers an alternative to AIM for high-quality applicants offering the potential for investment returns. The 'PLUS-quoted' market is mostly for small to mid-cap companies, with 200 already listed.
